About The Boogiemen Inc.
Hard rock, blues rock, heavy metal, classic rock etc. – the most suitable definition of Norway`s The Boogiemen Inc.`s music is simply, Rock and Roll, taking theire influences from over fifty years of amplified music.The band started out as a straight edge Chicago-blues/R&B band over a decade ago, but have since then matured into being one of theire native land`s most exciting Rock`n`Roll outfits. The Boogiemen Inc.`s repertoire include mainly original material, even though the band`s sound bear more than a little resembleance to classic vintage rock, (i.e. Lizzy, Purple, Zeppelin, Free, Stones, AC/DC etc.)
After numerous one-nighters, in small clubs and dodgy bars all over the country, the band have earned a reputation for being a tremendous live-act – pulling no punches, and always delivering the goods.
The band`s musical palette ranges from being high-octane and energetic one moment, to a bluesy and melodic vibe the next. With powerful vocals, thundering bass-lines, crashing drums and a ferocious twin lead guitar attack, The Boogiemen Inc. continue to make eardrums bleed, wherever they go.
The Boogiemen is currently in the process of
writing and rehearsing new material for their forthcoming record, which is
planned to be released primo 2009
